Failure Analysis Engineer at Fresco Microchip
Be part of an energetic team ensuring first-rate quality to Fresco’s customers by performing failure analysis on mixed-signal integrated circuit products.
Key Accountability Areas
- Prompt, efficient, and accurate analysis of suspected defects in Fresco’s products.
- Facilitate Failure Analysis (FA) activities to identify root cause of verified defects.
- Facilitate FA activities to implement corrective action to achieve Fresco’s DPPM target.
Typical Activities
- Drive FA activities for customer RMAs, internal quality, yield improvement, or reliability qualification failures.
- Perform analysis activities using Fresco equipment and manage external vendors during analyses.
- Interpret and validate external analysis vendor reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Establish new FA techniques to support new products as introduced.
- Create root cause FA reports for both internal and external customers.
- Review failure history, identify trends, provide a trend and data analysis, suggest debug procedures, initiate vendor FA and trigger corrective actions for failures.
